Cocooning

Drip, drip, drip! We still have the chilly, drizzly weather. Today we started out along the levee for our morning walk, but shortly found our feet getting heavier and heavier. Our shoes were picking up a thick layer of muck (yuck!). We decided to reroute and walk through the park instead, after spending some time trying to scrape the stuff off so we could walk. We found out that the park will be closed Monday because of the construction work on the levee.

We spent some time trip planning for this summer. As usual we found that we won't have as much time as we'd like, so we have to remind ourselves that "you can't do everything" and we'll have more chances in the future to revisit places like the Richmond area. We have some specific dates to be places, so we have to work around those.

Tonight we played some Rummikub. I won the current series. Ken says he really likes Scrabble and UpWords now 8-)
