This afternoon we went to Webb Community Park to watch Sam play his soccer game. For the first quarter he was the goalie and did a great job of preventing the opponents from scoring. Ken again got some great shots of the soccer action.
Molly and Cate and Ed and I cheered Sam's team on.
After the game we all went back to the house, where Julie was just putting the finishing touches on a delicious zucchini and spinach lasagna. After dinner we went for our usual neighborhood walk, returning in time to play Ticket to Ride, using Ed's 10th Anniversary Edition of the game. Ed barely nosed Ken out for a victory.
Earlier Ed and Cate and Ken and I played 10 Days in the Americas. Ed won that game too. I felt very geographically challenged as I tried to keep track of which countries connected with which other ones.
