Getting To Know Branson

We went into Branson to look over the town. First we walked the downtown streets of the original part of town--known as historic downtown Branson. We had lunch in a cafe on Main Street. We shared a grilled chicken sandwich and a blackberry cobbler with ice cream for dessert. We enjoyed both. Then we drove out to the west end of town, checking out the theaters we expected to see shows in over the next few days.

Later we stopped at Wal-Mart and bought a new 14' ethernet cable for setting up our internet dish and a set of walkie-talkies to use when we're parking the trailer in a new campsite. After dinner we went to the Turkey Creek RV Village clubhouse for root beer floats and for an hour of musical tribute to Loretta Lynn.
