Dance and Drizzle

John and Sandy picked us up for Darryl's afternoon C-2 dance at Our Savior Lutheran Church in McAllen. We had seven squares plus three couples today. We were glad to see new arrivals Harlan and Jean and Blair and Anne and Ron and Jackie and Larry and Kathy. Most of our C-2 class from last spring are here now and dancing with us. We did pretty well, but still have plenty to learn.

Our walk this morning was chilly, but we saw one woman out running in her shirtsleeves. Brrrr. This afternoon the weather was even less congenial, with our glasses and faces spattered with drizzle. We got some mail today, including forwarded mail from Livingston. The Christmas season continues: we got some late arriving Christmas cards. We also got the usual year end announcements from Social Security and our healthcare insurers. It's nice to get a raise from Social Security, but for the second year in a row, it's pretty minimal.
