The highlight today was a get-together at Jean's (where else?) to play games. We picked up Steve and Jan at Greengate Grove, which is soon to be our new home.
The first game we played was Dixit! It's a party game for 3-6 players. We had eight players, so we played partners. Then we played Five Crowns, which just barely works for eight players. Of course we had snacks and drinks and a great party spirit, so a good time was had by all. Thanks, Jean, for being such a great party giver!
This morning Steve and Ken went to Home Depot to pick up the stuff needed to move the awning post. I defrosted and cleaned out the fridge while they were out shopping.
It's been three months since we last moved, so we turned to our checklists. We spent some time getting ready for the move. Ken added air to the duallies, which are inflated to 60 psi for towing, but only 35 psi when we're not towing for a block of time.
Our neighbors are really nice, and of course they're interested in someone new moving into their block. Chuck and Carol are our southern neighbors. Chuck offered the use of his power washer to clean up the pad, but we decided to hold off on taking him up on that offer because we just didn't have time yesterday.
