This afternoon we attended a performance of In the Heights, Tony award winning musical by Lin Manuel Miranda. It was presented by the McAllen High School Theatre and Choir, with live music by a local group. The performers put on a high energy, impressive show, with some really outstanding voices. The high school students in the valley regularly turn out really great theater, and some of the students are clearly destined for professional careers in entertainment.
