Neighborhood Walks

Not much happening here today. Chris had an early breakfast meeting at work, so he left before I woke up. Anara came over at 10 a.m., but as I expected, she was still tired from her trip home yesterday, so she napped.

She walked with me to New Seasons for some things to fix dinner.

Talked to Ed. Terri might visit. Walked with Chris and Anara to her doctor's office. Later we stopped at Salt & Straw for ice cream. The place is extremely trendy in Portland an wildly popular. People stand in long lines to order such oddball flavors as "Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper" or "Freckled Woodblock Chocolate." We really didn't care for the stuff, unfortunately. We're probably not young enough.
