Today was a very pleasant day. We even got to go to the hot tub and enjoy the sunshine on a break from our trip preparations. Ken used the compressor to clean some soil lines on our MCD shades. For some reason they all seem to accumulate a bit of soil on a line across the shade about five or six inches up from the bottom. That task took way longer than anticipated.
This evening we listened to the crickets and enjoyed the warm evening air. It reminded both of us of our childhoods. Ken thought of visiting aunts and uncles at their cottages on little Michigan lakes during the summer. I thought of visiting aunts and uncles in North Carolina who lived on farms.
We'll be heading to cities for the next few weeks. It's the end of our winter season with friends in the Valley, but also the beginning of our summer adventures. Safe travels to all our friends.
