Arriving in Nacogcoches

We drove from Livingston to Nacogdoches, Texas. First we visited John & Loretta Dahmus. They took us out to lunch at a pizza buffet, and Lee and Loretta took Sweetie for a walk. Afterwards John drove us around the grounds of Stephen F. Austin State University, showing Lee all the changes since she was there.

Then we went to visit Barbara Sampietro and family. Anne Marie, Mia, Sarah, and Paul were there. Lee hadn't seen her goddaughter Mia in quite a while, so this was a very welcome visit.




We parked overnight in the parking lot of a Baptist church down the street.
